I have also been working on bring men to speak out via my Facebook page and Instagram handle and I have been using the hashtag "WhenMenTalk".
This is something people need to be sensitized about.

Once again, thank you

Hi Chris,
I am pleased to hear that this article resonated with you. Your project sounds very exciting and will raise the issue of toxic masculinity which benefits from being talked about more! I will pass on your comments and email to Ricky. I wish you all the best on your project.

My name is Chris Reyes, I'm a british born filipino & hiphop dance theatre maker. For a living, I choregraph/artistically direct alot of my own projects/dance theatre works in London. I'm currently working on a piece surrounding brotherhood, male mental health, men supporting men, what is brotherhood and its necessary role in supporting men.

First and foremost , I just wanted to reach out and thank you for writing up this article. It really held me and has been something in the back of my mind - Thinking about my relationships with my brothers and how I can be supported aswell as support them especially within todays society. Theres this heavy stigma and blurry definition attached to masculinity. To separate it from toxic masculinity has given me alot of clarity. Masculinity is something I strayed away from for many years because of its reflection on society. For me, would like to understand more and maybe perhaps, embrace it.

I am going into rehearsals with 6 other dancers (men) who i feel will resonate and empower this topic. as part of my research and development, it would be great to have a conversation with you and help expand on this topic and to create something that can relate and connect to with all men.

This is my email, it would be great to connect.

Thank you again and I look forward to hearing back.
