The workshop is aimed at discussing:

– What is the level of knowledge about the food sector in Wielkopolska region (regional smart specializations, certification, promotional campaigns etc.)?

– What are the current problems/challenges in the food sector in Wielkopolska region?

– what is food product that represents the Wielkopolska region the best? It is organised in three steps:

1) selection of three products which could represent Wielkopolska (individually)

2) experiential phase: presentation of the products and tasting (traditional and innovative ones);

3) final discussion about products’ testing and results of initial products selection

 

Program of the event:

09.45 am – Registration

10.00 am – Introduction to the workshop and Foodbiz project – Jakub Gazda (PUEB)

10.15 am – Brief presentation of participants

10.30 am – Discussion about the level of knowledge about the food sector in Wielkopolska region – Magdalena Florek (PUEB)

11.00 am – Presentation of region al smart specialization in regards to food – Marcin Lewicki (PUEB)

11.15 am – Coffee break

11.30 am – Current problems and challenges in the food sector in Wielkopolska region

12.15 am – Discussion based on groups’ results – Jakub Gazda (PUEB)

12.45 am – Testing of local products/presentation of producers and discussion – Tomasz Zawadzki and Magdalena Florek (PUEB)

01.45 pm – Main conlusions and closing – Jakub Gazda (PUEB)
