The event is aimed at discussing the areas listed in Foodbiz handbook: 1)agree-food chain, 2)gastrotourism 3)ICTs and agri-food. Specifically, within these topics following issues are meant to be presented and discussed (which were developed based on the former meetings): 1) fairs as a part of agree-food chain and its role in promotion and distribution of regional products, 2) regional gastronomy in tourism and challenges for regional restaurants to create a tourist experience, 3)promotion of regional restaurants in social media and building effective on-line communication. After the presentations, participants will be divided into 3 focus groups, where their task will be to solve specific problems. The leading motifs underlying the specific tasks are the subjects from the presentations (suggested by Foodbiz team in advance). The focus groups will be led by PUEB Foodbiz team members to ensure the project aims are met with the active help of presenters if necessary. At the end of event, all groups together will discuss the conclusions coming from particular focus groups results and share their opinions. Networking possibility will be also organized after the event.

  • 09.45 am – Registration. Introduction to the Foodbiz Project, description of the meeting goals by Magdalena Florek (PUEB coordinator)
  • 10.15 am – Gastronomy in tourism as impulse of destination choice – how to change the basic need into touristic goal? – PLOT representative
  • 10.40 am – Promotion in social media in the case of restaurant – Mytujemy representatives
  • 11.05 am – The role of fair in regional products’ promotion. „Taste of regions” case – MTP Group representative
  • 11.30 am -Discussion on rules of work in parallel panel groups by Magdalena Florek (PUEB coordinator)
  • 11.45 am – Coffe and lunch break
  • 12.30 am – Parallel focus groups (PUEB Team):1. “How to create the best gastronomy experience – challenges for regional restaurant”, room 4.1.
    2. “Social media in promotion of restaurants – what mistakes to avoid, how to build effective communication”, room 3.1.
    3. “Fair – how to attract exhibitors and visitors”, room 3.2.
  • 13.15 am – Presentation of grups results, discussion. Moderator – Magdalena Florek, PUEB coordinator
  • 14.00 am – Final conclusions
  • 14.30 am – Networking
